SCPA SITE MANAGER

Melissa Katz

Melissa began riding on the East Coast at age eight and went on to compete on the Rutgers University equestrian team. She earned her BA in Visual Arts with a minor in Psychology, a combination that reflects both her creative side and her love of working with people. After years of visiting family on the West Coast, moving to California in 2016 felt like an easy choice. Since then, she has stayed closely connected to the equestrian world—working in the PCHA office, at Damoor's Feed and Tack, and remaining active on the show circuit. Along the way, she also spent several years as an emcee and host for corporate team-building events, where she learned how to keep things organized, energetic, and fun while bringing groups together.

Melissa is excited to work with our community and looks forward to getting to know our members and their horses. She brings a lifelong love of horses, a strong sense of organization, and a genuine enthusiasm for creating positive, engaging experiences.
